Puppy Parent Training
Hi, I'm Kerry W.
My life is surrounded by dogs. I live with them, I work with them, I am totally involved with them in all ways. My puppies are hand raised, are well socialised and are placed into only the very best of homes where they will be loved and cared for as they were when they were born into my hands. We breed rarely so the demand is strong, so please keep your eye on the website for updates on upcoming litters into the future. Website: www.vonkery.com

Behaviour and socialisation
The Affenpinscher breed are focused mainly on those they love and basically ignore anyone else. It is therefore important to ensure that they are raised having been introduced to many new people of all ages. As puppies they love everyone and whilst this will change as they mature, they take with them a love and trust of people. All are tested using Puppy Culture and Volhard to ensure they go to the right homes to suit their own special…
Dogs are carnivores and I therefore believe they should be fed as such. I am therefore a qualified Raw Dog Food Nutritionist so that I know the raw diet they are being fed, and will continue to be fed in their new homes, is based on all the right data for the lifelong health of the dog.
Puppies are born in the house under 24/7 care. The Dams are never alone when whelping as I feel it is vitally important that they have my support, if needed. Puppies transfer to their own 'Nursery' at around 3-4 weeks where they learn different sights, sounds and smells. Weather permitting, they then move to their own dedicated puppy yard where they play in sand pit, ball pit, play gym and see, hear and smell life on the farm.
Included with our puppies
A comprehensive Puppy Pack is included with every puppy containing all the information on how to feed the puppy, training, grooming and many different articles for the new owner to be able to supply their puppy with a strong, sound base for the puppy to mature into a good companion.
Vonkery Affenpinschers conducts 1 out of 1 core health tests which RightPaw believe are most important to conduct for the Affenpinscher.
Dogs affected by patellar luxation have loose kneecaps that may pop in and out of the knee joint,…
Vonkery Affenpinschers conducts 1 additional tests available for the Affenpinscher.
A heart certificate indicates a breeder has had their breeding dogs declared free from common heart conditions which might be passed down genetically to the puppies. This can be done by auscultation or echocardiography with a veterinary cardiologist, or by echocardiography with a GP vet. Common heart conditions include Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) and Myxomatous Mitral Valve Disease (MMVD).
About the breeder
A little about us
My dogs are my passion. I was lucky enough to be a member of the PAL Superdog Team, working closely with my dogs in the public eye, training and sharing all the wonderful things a dog can bring to our lives. Being able to live with them and bring puppies into the World is a blessing I don't take lightly. I spend many hours every day talking to my owners or talking to prospective owners who are considering owning one of my puppies. I live and work from home so am able to spend all my time either with or watching my dogs. It is surprising how much a human can learn by watching a dog just being, rather than always interfering. I know my dogs, I spend lots of time with my dogs and every one of them brings me joy and pleasure every day and being able to breathe in puppy breath is one of the very best things that can be enjoyed. The two dogs in my profile image were my first Obedience Champion and first Conformation Champion.
Why we got involved in breeding
After I discovered conformation showing it became a natural progression to want to breed with my winning dogs. I spent many hours at the elbow of a couple of amazing dog mentors who not only gave me their time but shared their valuable knowledge with me. I continue to study to ensure I am up-to-date with the latest news and theories on the very best way to raise my precious dogs. I don't sit on my laurels - I continue to work to be a better Breeder, a better trainer and a better owner.
Our special touch
I am very much about The Pack. I believe that dogs learn better and live happier when they have their Pack around them. I am their Pack Leader and as a strong, confident person they know they are cared for and that they can trust in my judgement and direction. Puppies go to their new homes needing a strong, confident Pack to live in and I can assist new owners in providing this for them. You will find so much more about me on my website.
