Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are raised in our living room in their own whelping/play area until 6 weeks of age, when they are slowly integrated into our daily routines with the adult dogs. They sleep in our bedroom at night, right by our bed. With 5 adult dachshunds & 4 humans, plus extended family often in our house, our puppies…
Health
We provide a balanced diet of high-quality kibble, along with a fresh, freeze and air-dried raw diet & various other fresh ingredients. Our breeding dogs have full breed DNA testing with Orivet & Canine Health Check. We vaccinate, worm & treat our dogs for parasites on a strict schedule.

A little about us
I’m Joni, wife to Rob & mum to 3 daughters & 1 son. I work out of my office at home as part of our maintenance business. I adore my dogs & spending time with them is my favourite part of my day.
Why we got involved in breeding
As a whole, our family adores the dachshund breed. Our dogs bring such joy, love & affection to our family & this has motivated us to want to share the love with other lucky families.
Our special touch
We adore our puppies, so it’s important to us to find the best families & forever homes for each & every one.
