Behaviour and socialisation
We start socialising our puppies from the moment they enter the world! We have a program for introducing them to different smells and sounds from when they are born. As they grow, and open their eyes, we give them different toys every day to play with to ensure they get used to a variety of textures and to keep them…
Health
All our dogs are from DNA tested parents to ensure that they are free from all heritable diseases. Our parent dogs are only obtained from reputable breeders or saved from our own litters, to ensure excellent physical conformation. There is no history of IVDD in our lines.
Home environment
The puppies grow up in a playpen in their own room of the house, to ensure they are warm and safe at all times. Mum is free to go in and out to see her puppies as much as she likes. At first she will stay with them nearly all the time, but as they grow she gains some of her independence back again just goes back in…

- Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
- Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
- Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
- Genetic Test
Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) is a genetic disease causing a stiff gait, exercise intolerance and difficulty swallowing in young Miniature Dachshunds. There is now a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

I am a medical student and breeder focused on mini dachshunds and mini groodles. My dogs are all pets and I get great joy from breeding wonderful puppies for wonderful families.
