Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are raised in the heart of our family home, where they receive daily love, handling and positive interaction from birth. They are well socialised with children, adults and our other dogs, and are exposed to everyday household sights and sounds, including the vacuum, television and normal family activities…
Health
The health and wellbeing of our dogs is our highest priority. Our breeding dogs undergo DNA health testing through Orivet and are carefully selected for their beautiful temperaments. Before joining their new families, every puppy receives a veterinary health check, their first vaccination, microchip and regular…
Home environment
Our Cocker Spaniels are cherished members of our family and are raised indoors in our home as part of the family. They grow up surrounded by our family, including our children, who spend time playing, cuddling and interacting with them every day. This early exposure to family life, along with plenty of room to play,…
Included with our puppies
Our puppies go to their forever homes with their first vaccination, microchip, veterinary health check, up-to-date worming, and a comprehensive puppy pack containing food, toy and a scented blanket to help them settle into their new home. We also provide ongoing support and are always available to answer questions…

Additional Tests
Adorable Furry Friends - Cocker Spaniels conducts 4 additional tests available for the Cocker Spaniel.
Genetic Test
Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS) is a genetic disease that causes affected dogs to compulsively lick, overgroom and bite their paws. This can cause recurrent injuries and infections. The condition can be extreme and even result in the dog being euthanised if the signs cannot be controlled.
Genetic Test
Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by abnormally large platelets in low numbers, meaning an affected animal cannot form clots properly after tissue damage. It can lead to life-threatening bleeding issues following surgery or injury. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) is a genetic condition mainly affecting Retrievers and Spaniels. It results in the dog collapsing after periods of intense exercise, even if they are normally able to cope with lower levels of exercise. There is a DNA test available which can indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
Canine Phosphofructokinase (PFK) Deficiency is a genetic disease resulting in low levels of the PFK enzyme. It can result in extreme muscle fatigue, muscle cramping and severe anaemia. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
