Home environment
Our home environment prepares pups for busy family life and the human contact they are born for. Puppies are born in our bedroom and grow up in our livingroom with a dog door to the garden where they run and play and have adventures. Inside or outside, they always have people close by.

Provision of a manual to prepare for a Wheaten, text and phone support as much as needed. Pedigrees are mailed once we receive them. Genetic TestThis is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
- Physical Test
An eye certificate means the breeder has had their breeding dogs examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist, to confirm they are not affected by any eye conditions which may be passed down genetically to their puppies. If relevant for the breed, it also includes running DNA tests to confirm the dog is not a genetic carrier of hereditary eye diseases, such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). It includes breeders who have participated in the Australian Canine Eye Scheme (ACES).

Protein Losing Nephropathy (PLN) in Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers is a kidney disease that can result in kidney failure. There are now DNA tests available to screen for this condition in breeding dogs.
