Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are raised as a part of our homes. As they grow we make sure to expose them to different sounds and experiences, as well as different people and animals. Our aim is to produce confident, happy, well adjusted puppies ready to lead a full life with their new family.
Health
Before leaving all our puppies are Bile Acid Tested, (Testing for Liver Shunts). Each puppy will receive a certificate on the results. Physical Test
Congenital abnormalities of the liver, such as a Portosystemic Shunt (PSS), are relatively common in some breeds. Breeders of at-risk breeds may test bile acid levels in their puppies at around 6 weeks old to check that they have normal liver function.
