Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Puppies will be raised in house with the family and socialised with our inside cats and lots of toys and interactive items. Outside, they will meet our other dogs, poultry and ponies while roaming 15 acres.
Health
All puppies bred are from health-tested parents only on both sides. Pups are routinely wormed and housed in a clean, healthy environment and fed premium quality food at all times.
Home environment
We live on a farm and pups will be exposed to a wide range of animals and people resulting in well-balanced, happy, healthy puppies.
Included with our puppies
Puppies are either fully registered for show/breeding prospects or limited registered for pet puppies. Pet puppies are sterilised via either vasectomy or ovary sparing spay. Pups will come with a pet pack filled with the food they’re currently eating, a toy, blanket, lead and collar and free pet insurance for a…

Genetic Test
Hereditary Footpad Hyperkeratosis (HFH) is a genetic condition of Irish Terriers that causes thickening and hardening of their footpads, forming painful corns. There is a DNA test now available to indicate whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease. This test can be run on puppies as well.
Physical Test
A heart certificate indicates that a breeding dog has been screened for heart disease such as DCM or MMVD. Auscultation alone is only accepted as a screening method if performed by a veterinary cardiologist or a GP vet certifying an OFA Basic Cardiac Screen. Echocardiography is an accepted screening method via GP or cardiologist.

About the Breeder
A little about us
I have bred ponies for many years and have owned Dogues for around 10yrs now.
Why we got involved in breeding
I absolutely love the Dogue breed and feel it’s important to ensure that the breed continues with only health tested parents that meet the standards and requirements of the breed to be used for breeding.
