At Bimmelrun Labradors our dogs are an integral part of family and farm life. We raise field-style Labradors, with one to two litters per year. Pups are raised in our home, surrounded by their extended human and doggy pack, ready to make their lives in your home.

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are raised in our home, with their extended doggy pack (we have 6 adult labs, 5 of which are related females), their first human family (2 adults and 1 child), a cat, and visitors (from 2 weeks of age), teaching them how to get along with other pets and that meeting new people is exciting.
Health
All our dogs and puppies are vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped etc. We go beyond the standard screening tests for breeding labs, and include PennHIP x-rays on our breeding dogs, as well as the standard ANKC x-rays. Our puppies spend the first 4-5 weeks in our house, in our central living space, getting socialised and getting used to the sights, sounds and smells of family life. Our payment process
Limited registration with Dogs Victoria (full registration can be arranged), vet-checked, vaccinated, wormed, microchipped, temperament testing, and puppies come with a collar, lead, soft blanket and toy with mother's scent, and a small bag of the food they're familiar with.

A little about us
We are a small family of humans (2 adults and a child) with a big family of dogs (7 dogs in our permanent pack)! We live on a rural property in south west Victoria where the dogs have plenty of space to exercise and play.
Why we got involved in breeding
We love Labradors, and think they make the best best friends. We breed them because we love having puppies around, and we find that Labrador people are also the best - so we enjoy meeting our dogs forever families each time it's time to say goodbye.
Our special touch
Our puppies are integrated into our daily life, they are born, and for the first four-five weeks, live wholly in our central living area of our house. They start to sleep outside on the back verandah when they're 5 or so weeks old, but still come inside to play, and when outside, they're right by the house. They're…
