Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
All of my puppies are house-reared around the family and well accustomed to household noise and routine. They are naturally weaned by their mother at 8-10 weeks and have social time with other healthy and puppy tolerant adult dogs from day one. All puppies are introduced to toys and games early, and toilet training…
Health
Mothers have had full DNA health clearances and have been elbow and hip scored.
Home environment
My home is set up with a studio room dedicated to my dogs with air conditioning and heating and soft bedding. The dogs also have a huge outdoor yard with a converted insulated cubby house that has reverse cycle AC to keep them cool in summer and warm in winter (although Pointers enjoy sunbathing). My Pointers join us…
Included with our puppies
All of my puppies come with a puppy pack, toy, collar, worming tablet, and 6 weeks pet insurance + more

Additional Tests
BREILLA Pointers conducts 1 additional tests available for the Pointer.
Physical Test
These breeders have had x-rays taken on their breeding dogs to assess the quality of their elbow joints. Dogs with very low ‘elbow scores’ are less likely to develop elbow problems in the future and less likely to pass hereditary elbow problems on to their puppies.

About the Breeder
A little about us

Our dogs are regularly recognised for their quality under specialist judges and also enjoy active lives in a range of dog sports. Puppies are raised with…
Why we got involved in breeding
Breeding is a family tradition for us, with generations involved in breeding and showing dogs. We remain engaged because we believe we are custodians of the breeds we love, with a responsibility to safeguard their health, soundness and temperament for generations to come. Our dogs are family — our hearts on a lead.
Our special touch
Our puppies are raised as part of our family and grow up in a busy home environment alongside children. They are exposed to everyday sights, sounds and handling from an early age, helping them develop into confident, well-adjusted companions.
