Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Out pups are handled multiple times a day from birth which builds a trust with human touch . As they grow and open their eyes I expose them to different parts only my home and textures of outside , trusted friends handle my pups as they grow and once vaccinated more exposure to more people .
Health
All parents of my pups are DNA tested pups are vaccinated microchipped and vet checked at 6 weeks old . Worming is done from a young age and ongoing .
Home environment
Our home has different areas where the pups are allowed as they develop . They are kept in a safe environment at all times having exposure to grass plants and older dogs of mine and our cat as they grow .
Included with our puppies
All our puppies go to their new home with comprehensive notes , 4 kg bag or royal canine puppy food , limited register pedigree ( ie pups not for show or breeding purposes) vaccination certificates , photos of litter and parents , DNA tested parents certificates.

Genetic Test
Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS) is a genetic disease that causes affected dogs to compulsively lick, overgroom and bite their paws. This can cause recurrent injuries and infections. The condition can be extreme and even result in the dog being euthanised if the signs cannot be controlled.
Genetic Test
Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by abnormally large platelets in low numbers, meaning an affected animal cannot form clots properly after tissue damage. It can lead to life-threatening bleeding issues following surgery or injury. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) is a genetic condition mainly affecting Retrievers and Spaniels. It results in the dog collapsing after periods of intense exercise, even if they are normally able to cope with lower levels of exercise. There is a DNA test available which can indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
Canine Phosphofructokinase (PFK) Deficiency is a genetic disease resulting in low levels of the PFK enzyme. It can result in extreme muscle fatigue, muscle cramping and severe anaemia. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
