Behaviour and socialisation
Mothers and babies socialise with my other dogs . They have cognitive and chewing toys in their indoor play pens at all times, toys are changed over to prevent boredom and are washed regularly. This is a genetic disease that affects a variety of breeds. It causes a blood clotting problem resulting in excessive bleeding. There is a DNA test available to ensure a breeding dog will not pass this condition on their puppies.
Genetic Test
Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome (MDS) is a condition where a male animal, with normal male genitalia, also possesses a uterus and fallopian tubes. This is caused by an error in development of the reproductive tract in early embryonic development. The condition is often discovered by accident during abdominal surgery. There is a DNA test available to identify if a dog is carrying this condition.
