Hi, I'm Erika H.

At Cheekystaffs, we aim to breed the old style Staffs for correct shape, size and temperament. We only breed from quality Staffords that are L2-HGA, HC tested and DNA profiled. We don't believe in shortcuts, and it shows in our dogs. We strive to excel, giving you your dream pet, however we do not take colour…

Behaviour and socialisation

All of our dogs are family members living with us. They are included in our everyday activities making them well rounded, social and balanced animals. They learn through play, and we also own our own doggy day care. We have 8 dogs in the home with us and foster lots of dogs who come visit and stay and help…

Health

All of our dogs are fully DNA tested and cleared, have correct bites, ears and rich colour with no skin or sensitivity issues. We feed only super premium foods, a mix of raw and dry foods which are biologically active, containing lots of fruit and vegetables. All our puppies are vet checked.

About the Breeder

A little about us

I’m Erika, an ANKC member since 2002 and certified in Animal Nutrition. As well as breeding, I foster lots of dogs alongside having my own, as I own a doggy day care.

Why we got involved in breeding

I have been showing dogs ever since becoming an ANKC member and learning the ropes of breeding. Influenced by a key breeding mentor, and with my husband’s parents also being experienced breeders of the Golden Retriever for the last 40 years, it was the obvious next step for me to follow in their footsteps.

Our special touch

We pride ourselves on personalising the experience for our new owners, keeping them regularly updating on the progress of their newborn pup throughout its early weeks, and providing a forum in which new owners can chat and catch up together locally, both before and after our pups go to their new homes.
