Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our pups are well socialised with young children from a young age and with other pets from 6 weeks of age.
Health
Raised indoors, our whelping area is cleaned and sanitised regularly, as well as our outdoor areas. They are raised with a variety of the highest quality foods available and are wormed every two weeks since birth.
Home environment
Our pups are raised indoors exclusively until 6 weeks of age where we commence toilet training outdoors. Handled regularly and cuddled on the couch with us, our pups receive a lot of love and affection.
Included with our puppies
For our local families we include a bed, bowls, blankey with mum's/litter's scent, their favourite toy, a puppy harness and lead, training treats, a week's worth of wet foods and two weeks' worth of dry food, plus their next worming tablet, vet paperwork and Microchip details. Additionally, each pup is wormed on the…

Genetic Test
Congenital Macrothrombocytopenia (CM) is a mild disease which normally does not have any impact on an affected dog’s health or lifespan but can cause concern if noticed on routine bloodwork without knowing the cause. It is a blood disease resulting in low numbers of very large platelets. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Curly Coat Dry Eye Syndrome is a genetic cause of eye and skin problems in Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies. The disease also caused an unsually tight curly coat texture. There is a DNA test available to identify if breeding Cavaliers are carrying the gene for Curly Coat Dry Eye Syndrome.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
This is a genetic neurological condition affecting Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. It causes sudden stiffening of the legs, often causing the dog to fall over and be unable to move. There is a DNA test available to indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease. The test is also recommended in Cavoodles.

About the Breeder
A little about us
Breeding for 24 years, I am a fourth year psychologist with a passion for Cavaliers, Groodles, and Cavoodles as therapy companions.
Why we got involved in breeding
Breeding is in our family - we are devoted animal lovers, having owned and operated wildlife parks and nature reserves throughout my childhood, as well as dog breeding for temperament, companionship and therapy dogs.
Our special touch
Our pups are raised indoors and handled regularly. I encourage gentle interaction with my children from a young age and welcome families to visit their pup weekly (if local) to watch their pup grow, feeding his/her first solids, helping with his/her first bath and grooming and so that they may develop a strong and…
