Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are well socialised with my children (aged 9, 12, 15), as well as other dogs and friends visiting to spend time with them.
Health
Parents are DNA tested and vet cleared prior to mating, as well as seeking approval by both our vet and our dog fertility and pregnancy specialist. Puppies are wormed at every two weeks from birth, and health checked by our vet and vaccinated at 6 and 8 weeks of age.
Home environment
Our home is full of love - and children. My children are involved in our whelping and socialising process from birth and have been since they were around two years or age each (now 9, 12, 15). They help me weigh and worm the pups, as well as dual feed where necessary, play with, and commence training with. We have a…
Included with our puppies
Our puppy packs come with a bed, blankey with mums/litter scent, next worming tablets, harness and lead, favourite toy, food and water bowl, and some dry kibble for the first week.

Genetic Test
Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB) is a congenital skin disease that causes fragile skin, blisters, ulceration, and skin scarring. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
This is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.

About the Breeder
A little about us
Breeding for 24 years, I am a fourth year psychologist with a passion for Cavaliers, Groodles, and Cavoodles as therapy companions.
Why we got involved in breeding
Breeding is in our family - we are devoted animal lovers, having owned and operated wildlife parks and nature reserves throughout my childhood, as well as dog breeding for temperament, companionship and therapy dogs.
Our special touch
Our pups are raised indoors and handled regularly. I encourage gentle interaction with my children from a young age and welcome families to visit their pup weekly (if local) to watch their pup grow, feeding his/her first solids, helping with his/her first bath and grooming and so that they may develop a strong and…
