Home environment
In the family home but the Chow being independent loves its time people watching from the window as well as laying in the hallways and bathroom floors where its cool. They also love the outdoors which a backyard offers more stimulation for a dog than an apartment and makes toileting easier as well.

Genetic TestThis is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
- Physical Test
An eye certificate means the breeder has had their breeding dogs examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist, to confirm they are not affected by any eye conditions which may be passed down genetically to their puppies. If relevant for the breed, it also includes running DNA tests to confirm the dog is not a genetic carrier of hereditary eye diseases, such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). It includes breeders who have participated in the Australian Canine Eye Scheme (ACES).

Ongoing support for life, your breeder should be your first call in an emergency, all the essentials to give you the best start possible. Crate for travelling/training, snake chain, leash, puppy insurance, pedigree, contract of sale, Heath guarantee, grooming kit including brushes and high velocity pet dryer, how to guide for grooming, feeding and more, puppy exercise guidelines, puppy first aid checklist, socialisation bucket list, access to Empireofchow network and family support/ play date/vacation network with other empire babies. Although not included I recommend all puppies attend puppy school and obedience training and/or puppy culture methodology available to steam online from their website.
