Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Puppies are raised under our feet on our property with our young children. We temperament test our puppies prior to them leaving for their families so people have the best opportunity to match the most suitable family member to their homes.

All dogs are hip and elbow scored, pennhip scored, Dna tested
Home environment
We live on 160 acres in the snowy mountains. Our beautiful puppies have room to grow and explore and play with our young children.

Genetic TestThis is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
- Physical Test
These breeders have had x-rays taken on their breeding dogs to assess the quality of their elbow joints. Dogs with very low ‘elbow scores’ are less likely to develop elbow problems in the future and less likely to pass hereditary elbow problems on to their puppies.

I started out with Golden Retrievers whom I loved so dearly and saw how they helped benefit our children and bring our family together. Our special touch
Our dogs are raised in the luxury of our family home and we get to know all of their individual quirks and personalities. They are raised by us with love and affection and we strive to produce the best of quality in terms of health and temperament by doing all the extra health testing that we do.
