Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
All our pups are raised to be part of the family, with stable, loving temperaments. Our pups are raised with Puppy Culture protocols to ensure the most well-rounded, adaptable, loving pups.
Health
Health is the top priority of our breeding program. All of our pups come microchipped, vaccinated and with worming up to date. We conduct extensive health testing on our parent dogs, including DNA testing, hip and patella scoring, and back scoring. All dogs are fed a diet of Advance kibble, Advance wet food, and Lyka.
Home environment
We live on a 16 acre property, so dogs have plenty of room to roam, as well as their run of the home. Our pups are raised in a temperature-controlled area, and also have access to a enrichment area with play pens, heat pads, kids toys, snuffle mats, tunnels and more.
Included with our puppies
All our pups come with: - Harness, collar, lead - Food bowl - Starter food pack, bag of kibble, wet food - Brush - Blanket - Nail clippers - Kong toy, selection of toys - Heartbeat toys - Little treats - Next treatment of worming - Health docs - Information pack - ANKC registration (limited) - Info booklet - 1 month…

Why we got involved in breeding
I purchased my first puppy in 2018 from a breeder who, unfortunately, was very uncaring of his pups of breeding 4 of 6 pups of the litter had a congenital disease. Unfortunately my pup and one of his litter mates passed away by 6 months of age. I never want anyone to go through what I had gone through, and since…
Our special touch
Our adults are back scored - an X-ray protocol looking at spinal calcifications. Research shows that dachshund with an increased number of calcifications are: a) more likely to have IVDD, and b) more likely to pass this on to their offspring. We also hip score and patella score our adults. We show our dogs in…
