Behaviour and socialisation

Our puppies are raised in our home & their parents are much loved members of our family. Puppies are well socialised, living with 7 adult dachshunds, 2 adults and 3 children. Puppies are well exposed to the noises of everyday living, along with lots of toys! Toilet training begins prior to our puppies leaving for…

Health

Our puppies are raised on a healthy diet of quality kibble as well as fresh foods. They are regularly wormed & come vet checked with their first vaccination and microchip. Our breeding dogs have full breed DNA testing with Orivet Australia, which we are happy to provide on request.

Home environment

We live in a rural area in Western QLD, which allows our dogs to have plenty of room to run & play. We have a Whelping room, which the pups predominantly spend their early days in. The puppies are transitioned to outside play around 4 weeks of age to become familiar with the outside world.

We can usually assist with delivery of pups between Taroom and Brisbane, with airport drop offs occurring regularly. Assistance…

Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.

Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
