Fleurieu oodles and groodles
Murray Bridge, SA
Hi, I'm Charmaine E.
Hi I'm new at this and have my first litter. I am an animal lover, more so than a breeder. This can be evidenced by checking the face book profile, fleurieu oodles and groodles. I've put my heart and soul along with truck loads of money into my pets, both fur and feathered. My male is a certified therapy dog with…

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
The father of the pups is a therapy dog and visits 3 aged care facilities on a weekly basis. The pups have also visited and bought endless amounts of pleasure to the elderly. They have an instinct in who to be gentle with and who to play with as small as they are
Health
All recommended tests including DNA and hip and elbow scores are done. Vet checks have been carried out with vaccination and chipping at 6 weeks. All pups received a great report
Home environment
The whelping box is in my dining room. The pups have 24/7 interaction with people, babies, dogs, cats and large parrots. I have put in my heart and sole, along with all my money to these babies. All of my pets are very friendly and even the parrots can be handled
Included with our puppies
Pups will have grooming equipment, including shampoo, brushes, wipes, dry and wet food, toys, bowl, vouchers, pet insurance micro chipping

Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
GM2 gangliosidosis is a lysosomal storage disorder that causes neurological problems. There are a few different types of this disease affecting different breeds. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
This is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
Genetic Test
Neonatal Encephalopathy (NE) is a brain disease that can occur in Standard Poodle puppies. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteochondrodysplasias are a group of rare genetic diseases that cause problems with connective tissue, cartilage, or bone development. They commonly cause dwarfism and movement disorders. There is a DNA test available in some breeds to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
Genetic Test
Von Willebrand’s Disease (VWD/vWD) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by a lack of a specific clotting factor. There are three forms of the disease, types 1, 2 & 3. A DNA test is available for each type of VWD to identify whether a breeding dog is a carrier or might be affected. The severity of VWD varies widely between breeds and individuals, ranging from life threatening, through to having no impact on clotting ability.

About the Breeder
A little about us
Hi we are empty nesters with exception of our furry and feathered family. The dogs are all in side dogs and live their best life. We visit 3 of the local aged care facilities weekly. I'm not going to say I want to improve the breed etc, but I will say my 3 dogs have come from 3 different states in aust. I don't…
Why we got involved in breeding
I bought a pup which I trained to be amazing, my kids wanted pups also, so they bought me a girl so they didn't have to buy pups. And so it began
Our special touch
I guess the pup new owners are the ones to ask, but I do begin therapy training with socialisation, noise, movements etc
