Pups ready to go home in 1 week

We aim to breed the best quality puppies with beautiful temperaments and conformation on a small scale, for the pet market as not everyone wants to show their puppies. I have…

Behaviour and socialisation

All of our puppies live in the family room in their large two room whelping box. They are exposed to household noises & visitors (esp Grandchildren) to assist with their socializing, and adjusting to normal life.

Home environment

We live on 10 acres with 4 of these acres fully" dachshund proof" fenced. They are able to run and explore in complete safety when the weather is nice. Dachshunds don't like wet under carriages so they have a purpose build, out of the mud, raised walkway for the rest of the time. It is their favorite play area as…

Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. About the Breeder

A little about us

Hi, I have been involved in showing and breeding other breeds for 25 years, I took a long break from breeding and showing after my last breed. I didn't think I would get anymore dogs I'm not young, but little did I know I was to be accidentally chosen to be mother to a gorgeous dachshund called Freidrich. He is the…

Why we got involved in breeding

I wanted to keep a puppy from my foundation stock. Freidrich and Hildegarde, then I needed a sire for Gertrude and of course Lettie was too beautiful not to add to the brew..... I no longer breed short hair, they are simply family and have a wonderful life.

Our special touch

Loving them is my privilege, their existence gives me more happiness than anything else
