Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
We raise our puppies using Puppy Culture socialisation principles which requires us to ensure they are enriched with a range of sensory play activities. Our puppies get to see and meet other animals, other breed pups and adult dogs as well as other adults and children. We consciously expose our pups to a variety of…
Health
We choose to take our pups to the vets for their vaccinations, health checks and microchipping. We do this for several reasons, Attending the vet clinic in person gives the pups 2 x 1 hr drives in the car so we can observe if any are prone to travel sickness, they get to experience a vet visit with us and their…
Home environment
Our puppies are born and raised in our family home. Our dogs are our family members and all live and sleep in the house with us. Of course our pups also live in our home with us too in a weather protected, temperature controlled environment. Our puppies are raised on our lovely semi-rural property, 40 minutes south…

Genetic Test
Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS) is a genetic disease that causes affected dogs to compulsively lick, overgroom and bite their paws. This can cause recurrent injuries and infections. The condition can be extreme and even result in the dog being euthanised if the signs cannot be controlled.
Genetic Test
Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by abnormally large platelets in low numbers, meaning an affected animal cannot form clots properly after tissue damage. It can lead to life-threatening bleeding issues following surgery or injury. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) is a genetic condition mainly affecting Retrievers and Spaniels. It results in the dog collapsing after periods of intense exercise, even if they are normally able to cope with lower levels of exercise. There is a DNA test available which can indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
Canine Phosphofructokinase (PFK) Deficiency is a genetic disease resulting in low levels of the PFK enzyme. It can result in extreme muscle fatigue, muscle cramping and severe anaemia. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

About the Breeder
A little about us
My family and I work together to ethically create the healthiest, happiest, most adorable pups I possibly can in a truly loving home environment. Breeding isn’t my hobby or my side hustle…it’s my full time passion. We don’t just breed pups though…we believe ethical breeding means giving back so we’re actively…
Why we got involved in breeding
As a child my family had only purebred dogs. Some we bought when they were just a young pup but others we were given as older rehoming dogs. These rehoming dogs always passed away before their time and in horrible circumstances. Lack of care before they came to us and poor breeding were most likely the culprits. …

I am available 24/7 furever to help with any issues that arise with my furbabies, be it queries about their care, an upset tummy or injury or even the best place to buy something for them 😊. I am always available to help my pawrents provide the best…
