Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Puppies are socialised with our other dogs on property, lots of visits from friends and family, and are exposed to many animal and farm noises. They are also desensitised to mower & machinery sounds, music, thunder storm and loud noises.
Health
Our dogs are in glowing health and fed a mixture of premium raw food and complete balanced kibble from premium companies. We sell our puppies with a 2 year health guarantee for genetic issues if they are desexed by 10 months of age. All our breeding dogs are tested with a full breed health profile from Orivet…
Home environment
Puppies are born with constant supervision in a temperature controlled room in our home with video live feed monitoring. Later at around 4 weeks, they are moved to a large purpose built air conditioned puppy play room with lots of stimulating toys, beds and toilet training is begun. They are kept in their play room…
Included with our puppies

Additional Tests

Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
This is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Neonatal Encephalopathy (NE) is a brain disease that can occur in Standard Poodle puppies. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.

About the Breeder
A little about us
We have always had dogs, mostly border collies. Owning our own business, someone is always at home to give the dogs company and care. We are passionate about providing the best experience for our parent dogs, puppies and owners, and provide lifetime support.
Why we got involved in breeding
We met a Groodle a few years ago and were super impressed by his calm nature, gorgeous fluffy teddy bear look and the fact he didn’t shed any hair. After finding it hard to find any Groodles in Qld, we set out to research about breeding and spoke to many breeders. Our goal is to be an amazing breeder that we would be…
Our special touch
No expense is spared to set up our breeding business and we are always looking for ways we can improve the experience for our puppies and buyers. Many of our dogs live with their own loving families in Guardianship Homes. They come here for visits and holidays so are totally relaxed staying here when it is time to…
