Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our babies are born and raised inside our family home. They are exposed to household noise from early on and invited to be a part or our family from the time they arrive into our homes and hearts, until the time they leave.
Health
Good health starts with the parents! Our breeding dogs are DNA tested, wormed, flea treated and fed premium diet, as well as living happy, active lives and being a part of our family. Our babies are wormed fortnightly from birth, started on premium food and vet checked at several stages throughout.
Home environment
We live on a beautiful 70s acre property with horses, cows, chickens, cats, our dogs and 3 human babies. Our dogs live inside with us and take part in our daily life.
Included with our puppies
Our babies come vaccinated, microchipped, vet checked, wormed every two weeks and come to new families with puppy pack including litter scented toy/blanket, teddy, premium food and all relevant documentation for both puppy and parents.

Genetic TestThis is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
- Genetic Test
This is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
- Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
- Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
- Genetic Test
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) in dogs is a type of genetic eye disease causing deterioration of the retina and eventually, blindness. There are a variety of sub-types of PRA, which can occur in various breeds. There are various DNA tests available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

Our special touch
Our babies are raised inside our home from birth, but we love them long before they arrive into the world.... our dogs are pampered weekly with a therapeutic hydrobath and live inside our air-conditioned home. They are happy and loved and relaxed! We believe this is passed on to their puppies who inherit the same…
