Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our babies are raised inside our family home and our children are often actively involved in the birthing process. Our babies are handled from birth and showered with love from the time they arrive until the time they venture off to their new families. They are exposed to noisy everyday life- television, vacuum…
Health
The health of our babies is vital to us and a priority to ensure they live long, happy and healthy lives! Our babies are vet checked at birth, as well as at 6 weeks. We believe healthy puppies start with healthy parents. Our dogs are DNA-tested, vet checked annually along with appropriate vaccinations, wormed…
Home environment
Our babies are raised in our home only! They birth inside, are handled from birth, grow up inside and have plenty of time exploring outside with us when they are ready to do so. They are given the opportunity to develop confidence within themselves and find their feet at their own pace. Some are ready for adventure…
Included with our puppies
Our babies are given the absolute best start to life and it's important to us that continues once they leave for their new homes. Our puppies come up-to-date with worming, vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and come with a full puppy pack including their premium food, toys, teddy with mum and litter scent,…

Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
This is a serious genetic skin disease that causes flaky dry skin and footpad problems. It can occur in many breeds but is fairly common in Golden Retrievers. There is a DNA test to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this disease and could pass it on to their puppies.
Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Neonatal Encephalopathy (NE) is a brain disease that can occur in Standard Poodle puppies. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
