Behaviour and socialisation

Our pups are raised in a home environment with small humans for lots of gentle handling and socialisation with our older groodles, who love having puppy guests! We follow the puppy culture program ensuring we safety expose pups to typical household noises and handling. Each week we send a detailed ‘pupdate’ on what’s…

Health

We pride ourselves on being ethical breeders with integrity, and the health and wellbeing of our pups is our priority. We DNA test our dogs and do a maximum of 2 litters from our breeding girls to ensure they are not over-bred. Our guardian program allows for our mums to live with their forever families and…

Being a busy household, they are used to lots of noise and interaction and are in a good routine of eating and sleeping by a few weeks old. They are fed a healthy diet and some might argue they eat better than the humans of the house! They have their own dedicated area that gets lots of human interaction throughout…

Canine Elliptocytosis is a rare genetic disease causing the red blood cells to be abnormally elliptical in shape, rather than round. It generally does not cause a clinical problem to affected dogs, but puppies may be mildly anaemic and smaller than others. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

dna iconGenetic Test

Congenital eye malformations in Golden Retrievers result from a mutation of the SIX6 gene. These malformations can present as a range of different eye conditions, ranging from poor vision to blindness in one or both eyes. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying the affected gene.

Our dogs' temperaments speak for themselves! We put the love and care into raising them that they deserve, and this shows. We have partnered with Police Legacy other charities to share our dogs and are proud to continue this work. Several of our dogs have become certified therapy and companion dogs and we are…
