We are a small breeder of Long Hair Miniature Dachshunds based in Brisbane's Bayside. We focus on improving the next generation by matching fully health tested dogs that complement each other in conformation and temperament. Our hope is you become just as in love with the breed as we are.

Behaviour and socialisation
All of our puppies are raised in a loving home environment following the Puppy Culture Program to kick start their development. We utilise Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) as well as exposure to a multitude of sounds and textures. They are frequently handled and experience nail clipping and regular grooming early…
Health
Our breeding dogs are all DNA tested and vet-checked for exemplary health. Puppies are wormed and vaccinated as required and fed a variety of high-quality foods.
Home environment
All of our dogs are raised indoors as a part of our family. Mum and pups are kept in a separate whelping room all to themselves where mum can come and go as she pleases. - Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.

Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
- Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.

A little about us
I'm Holly and I've had a passion for dogs my whole life. I fell in love with the breed many, many years before I finally got my boy Henry who only grew my love even more. I have always grown up with dogs and could never imagine a life without them.
Why we got involved in breeding
I've always had a deep interest in dog breeds and genetics but truly started to research and develop connections with more breeders after I got my first dachshund Henry. His amazing temperament blew me away and I wanted to be able to produce more puppies like him to enrich people's lives.
Our special touch
I have a deep love for dogs and I would spend every second of my life dedicated to raising well-tempered and healthy dogs if I could. And while that's not entirely possible, I will dedicate more time than is possible to ensure these puppies are set up to thrive.

Applying for a puppy
Payment plans are available - full amount must be paid at least 7 days before picking up puppy. $500 deposit required - refund only available for extenuating circumstances. Once we have spoken with you and determined you may be a suitable fit for a puppy, we will offer a facetime call to answer any questions you may have. This is also when we can show you our set up for both adult dogs and puppies. If we are happy and believe you to be a perfect fit for the puppy, we will offer the puppy, wait for confirmation, and then send you the contract and take the deposit. Once the deposit is paid we are happy to organise a puppy visit for those who are close. For those not close by we can facilitate more facetime calls.
