Hi, I'm Fiona G.

We have a small 22 acre property 25mins south of Cairns QLD, where we breed Arabian horses. We decided to renew our Kelpie breeders prefix in 2020 and will only breed our dogs occasionally. We love this special breed and hope your pup will bring you as much joy as all our dogs bring us. In 2017, we purchased our…

Health

Our parent dogs are DNA vet checked. The pups are vaccinated at 6-7 weeks. We recommend good quality dog food. We feed A La Carte Lamb & Rice because a local breeder buys it in bulk. Other good quality brands include Purina Proplan, Royal Canin, Black Hawk and Meals & Mutts (sample pack included). Even if your pup…

Home environment

Our Kelpies live on acreage with horses and chickens. They were introduced to the chickens when puppies and therefore very respectful of them. Our Kelpies have a large kennel for night-time, but during the day they love being out and always stay around the house and never wander off.

About the Breeder

A little about us

We have a small 22 acre property 25mins south of Cairns QLD, where we breed Arabian horses. We decided to renew our Kelpie breeders prefix in 2020 and will only breed our dogs occasionally. We love this special breed and hope your pup will bring you as much joy as all our dogs bring us.

Why we got involved in breeding

We recently renewed our Breeders Prefix after not breeding Kelpies for 14 years. Our love of Australian Kelpies has been ongoing for the past 25 years, when my husband introduced me to his chocolate Kelpie named Toby.

Our special touch

The Australian Kelpie makes a wonderful pet for children, with their kind and affectionate nature. We are excited to be breeding again and are planning one more litter in 6 months time.
