Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Pups are raised with Puppy Culture method, the conditions them to be able to cope with all kinds of situations. All pups are well socialised in many scenarios - children, other dogs, vet clinic, family friends, car rides, exposed to mowers, power tools and even trucks and heavy machinery
Health
All dogs are fully health tested with Orivet, we also colour test and eye test. All dogs are genetically clear of disease. Only dogs with clear eye test results are bred from Certificates available on request and provided in all puppy packs
Home environment
All pups are raised inside out home(no a kennel) All our adult dogs sleep inside at night and have free range during the day - they do have kennel runs that they go in three days a week while I work.
Included with our puppies
Puppy packs are extensive Food, collar, lead, shampoo, toys, treats, poo bags, lots of info pamphlets and free samples Extensive breed information booklet with feeding and training guide, all pedigree, microchip and health testing papers provided

Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Physical Test
An eye certificate means the breeder has had their breeding dogs examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist, to confirm they are not affected by any eye conditions which may be passed down genetically to their puppies. If relevant for the breed, it also includes running DNA tests to confirm the dog is not a genetic carrier of hereditary eye diseases, such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). It includes breeders who have participated in the Australian Canine Eye Scheme (ACES).
