Newborn litter
Hi, I'm Narelle G.
I am a lifetime member of Dogs NSW (ANKC)and have been breeding quality cocker spaniels for over 20 years. My cockers are my babies. I fell in love with the breed as they are the perfect all round family or single persons companion. Not too small, not too big and the most loyal dog ever. They are as active or as…

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
All puppies grow up within my family and are also loved by my children and grandchildren. They are given lots of love and affection and are also socialised with my older dogs. Toilet training has commenced, as is crate training
Health
All parents have been DNA tested through Orivet Puppies are all vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and have a full vet check at 7 weeks old. They are sold with a vet check certificate. I also provide ongoing support once the puppy leaves
Home environment
I don't show my fur babies as we live on 60 acres and all my dogs love swimming in the creek and dams. If I showed my dogs I would be never be able keep them in immaculate show condition as they love the water and the country life. The puppies have large inside areas as well as lovely outside grassed areas during…
Included with our puppies

Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS) is a genetic disease that causes affected dogs to compulsively lick, overgroom and bite their paws. This can cause recurrent injuries and infections. The condition can be extreme and even result in the dog being euthanised if the signs cannot be controlled.
Genetic Test
Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by abnormally large platelets in low numbers, meaning an affected animal cannot form clots properly after tissue damage. It can lead to life-threatening bleeding issues following surgery or injury. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) is a genetic condition mainly affecting Retrievers and Spaniels. It results in the dog collapsing after periods of intense exercise, even if they are normally able to cope with lower levels of exercise. There is a DNA test available which can indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
Canine Phosphofructokinase (PFK) Deficiency is a genetic disease resulting in low levels of the PFK enzyme. It can result in extreme muscle fatigue, muscle cramping and severe anaemia. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

About the Breeder
A little about us
When I moved to Kumundaboi 31 years ago, I was breeding little Australian Silky Terriers. However about 22 years ago one of my young daughters started hounding me about getting Cocker Spaniels. She then got one of her sisters on side, so they were both asking for a Cocker. I thought that was a bit of a crazy idea…
Why we got involved in breeding
I was raised in the country surrounded by animals. I always had dogs and I loved it when we had puppies It was a natural progression for me to want to breed perfect puppies
Our special touch
While all of my dogs are show quality and have excellent blood lines, I don't show my Cockers as we live on a 60-acre farm. All my dogs love swimming in the creek and dams, therefore if I showed my dogs I would be never be able keep them in immaculate show condition – I much prefer that they enjoy their freedom as…
