Behaviour and socialisation

Our breeding dogs have been tested for relevant genetic diseases. Additionally, our puppies will come with a Health Guarantee, including an Orivet Comprehensive DNA Report for your puppy and both parent dogs. Home environment
We're based in Perth's north-eastern suburbs on a lovely fenced off block with lots of room for our puppies to run and live their best life. They have the run of the house (both inside and outside), with plenty of different toys, blankets, play pens and activities to keep them stimulated. Our puppies will be bornā¦

- Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
- Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
- Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ābrittle bone diseaseā, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
- Genetic Test
Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) is a genetic disease causing a stiff gait, exercise intolerance and difficulty swallowing in young Miniature Dachshunds. There is now a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

Why we got involved in breeding
Initially, I started learning more about the breeding of Miniature Dachshunds to grow our own fur family, however, my growing passion for this breed has led to a dedication to responsible and ethical breeding. Adding a dachshund to your family is a life-changing event and Iām honoured to be part of your journey.
Our special touch
Working full-time in a customer experience role has allowed me to take a holistic approach to helping others find the perfect fur baby to join their family. Iām dedicated to providing a positive experience throughout your journey with us and will remain available to support you for the lifetime of your new puppy!

Applying for a puppy
Non-Refundable Deposits To ensure our puppies are placed in loving, suitable homes, we require a $500 non-refundable deposit. This deposit helps us allocate time and resources. If the buyer changes their mind before full payment is made, it makes finding a suitable match more challenging, hence, the deposit is non-refundable. Refund Policy Under Australian Consumer Law (ACL), buyers may be entitled to a remedy for significant health issues or if the pet doesnāt match the description. However, refunds are not provided under the following circumstances: ā¢ The buyer changes their mind ā¢ Illness caused by factors outside the breederās control (e.g., diseases contracted after leaving the breeder) ā¢ The pet suffers an injury due to the buyer's actions or an accident. Rehoming Maple Dachshunds are committed to the lifelong well-being of our dogs. If you ever need to rehome one of our puppies or adult dogs, we will gladly accept them back or assist in finding them a loving new home through RightPaw. Our commitment includes: ā¢ Lifetime Support: We will take back any dog we have bred, regardless of age. ā¢ Rehoming Assistance: If returning to us is not possible, weāll work with RightPaw to help facilitate the rehoming process.
