Our Breeding Practices

Behaviour and socialisation

All our puppies have been well socialized with our dogs. By the time they leave for their new homes they will be using dog door to go in and out of the house to go to toilet outside.

Health

All puppies comes with at least 1 vaccination, microchipped vet checked and we give 30 days free pet insurance with the pup.

Home environment

We live in a big block with plenty of room for the pups to run around in the backyard and they live inside the house.

Included with our puppies

I provide 24/7 support to my new puppy owners. Puppy comes with a comprehensive puppy pack which includes a 3kg black hawk puppy food, training treats , puppy toy and some other goodies. Also 30 days free pet insurance with Trupanion.

An eye certificate means the breeder has had their breeding dogs examined by a veterinary ophthalmologist, to confirm they are not affected by any eye conditions which may be passed down genetically to their puppies. If relevant for the breed, it also includes running DNA tests to confirm the dog is not a genetic carrier of hereditary eye diseases, such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA). It includes breeders who have participated in the Australian Canine Eye Scheme (ACES).

A little about us

Megaztar Miniature Schnauzers started in 1999 as Megastar Miniature Schnauzers in Singapore. We moved over to Victoria, Australia in 2004 which started Megaztar Miniature Schnauzers.

Our special touch

Our dogs are not just show dogs but very loved family members. They get the best we can get them and nothing less.
