Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Behaviour is observed from the first few days of life. Our training model is based on leveraging the individual personalities of our puppies and treating them accordingly. If we have a puppy that has strong personality components suitable for service dog work, we handle that puppy in a way to bring those attributesā¦
Health
All of our dogs go through rigorous health testing before being submitted to our breeding program. This testing includes; DNA profiles to asses inheritable diseases and traits, vet assessments of overall conformation, hips, elbows, eyes, teeth, and temperament. We are a generational grazier family living on a property on the outskirts of Bathurst NSW. Our dogs are both inside and outside dogs. They come for a run up the paddock, a swim in the dam. Why we got involved in breeding
I first fell head over heels in love ESS (English Springer Spaniels) 20 years ago when a friend Of the family had one. She was mesmerising in her beauty and worked the room like a pro. Dogs need a job. Man and manās best friend have been a union for more than 30,000 years. That union is embedded in our dna and how we communicate with them.
