Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are well-socialized and taken through "Super Dog" training from three days of age. This helps them to adjust to new environments reducing stress. They are trained to potty using their instincts and arrive at thier their fur-ever homes potty-trained and crate-conditioned.
Health
We provide a lifetime health guarantee so you know you are covered should any genetic health issues arise. They are immunized, wormed, and a raw food diet plan is provided along with two months of free pet insurance.
Home environment
They are family-reared in our home with children and adults, handled often during the day, with ENS (early neurological stimulation) from 3-16 days and puppy sound training from 3 weeks or when their ears open.
Included with our puppies
Training from 6-8 weeks of age to teach come, sit, collar grab, and lead training. 5 weeks of free training from Relaxed Obedience. Lifetime support from us!!

PRA

Additional Tests
MiriCol Paws conducts 7 additional tests available for the Schnoodle.
Genetic Test
Dilated Cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a heart disease causing an enlarged heart with stretched heart muscle. Affected dogs are high risk of developing life-threatening heart failure as the abnormal heart cannot beat as effectively. There is a genetic test in some breeds to show if a breeding dog is predisposed to DCM.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
This is a genetic disease that affects a variety of breeds. It causes a blood clotting problem resulting in excessive bleeding. There is a DNA test available to ensure a breeding dog will not pass this condition on their puppies.
Genetic Test
GM2 gangliosidosis is a lysosomal storage disorder that causes neurological problems. There are a few different types of this disease affecting different breeds. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Persistent Mullerian Duct Syndrome (MDS) is a condition where a male animal, with normal male genitalia, also possesses a uterus and fallopian tubes. This is caused by an error in development of the reproductive tract in early embryonic development. The condition is often discovered by accident during abdominal surgery. There is a DNA test available to identify if a dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Spondylocostal Dysostosis (SD, or ‘Comma Defect’), is a genetic growth disorder causing spinal and rib malformations. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Von Willebrand’s Disease (VWD/vWD) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by a lack of a specific clotting factor. There are three forms of the disease, types 1, 2 & 3. A DNA test is available for each type of VWD to identify whether a breeding dog is a carrier or might be affected. The severity of VWD varies widely between breeds and individuals, ranging from life threatening, through to having no impact on clotting ability.
