- Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.

Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.

Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.

We are family owned and operated and all of our dogs are healthy happy and friendly. We consider all of our fur babies to be a valued part of our home and our family.

We have always loved and admired the dachshund breed, so choice of what type of dog to breed came very easy to us. Dachshunds are extremely loyal, lovable and sassy. Applying for a puppy
Please see our "what's included" section for what we include in our puppy packs. Our prices vary depending on individual puppies, coat types, patterns etc. Deposit and payment wise: we request a deposit of $500 to secure your puppy. The deposit is non-refundable for change of mind, however if the puppy is found to not be in optimum health when they have their 6 week vet health check then the deposit will be fully refundable. In all our years of breeding we have never had this happen. Full payment is then required to be made 7 days prior to the puppy being picked up or sent to allow funds to clear.
