Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.

About the Breeder
A little about us
We’ve got a small breeding and stud program between two families. My family looks after the female dogs, and my breeding partner’s family takes care of the males. This setup really helps keep things safe and prevents any accidental litters. The dogs get to hang out with each other day!
Why we got involved in breeding
We got our first long-haired mini dachshund for our son’s birthday, and he was absolutely gorgeous! He was so calm, cuddly, loving and had such a big personality for his little size. Both of our families instantly fell in love with him. He’s been a huge blessing to our family, and it’s true—you can’t just have one,…
Our special touch
Our mini doxies are such a big part of our lives that they’re always with us, wherever we go (when we can!). They are adored, cuddled and looked after by everyone in our families. We wouldn’t be able to live without them.

Breeding since
We began breeding purebred Maremma, Guardian Sheepdogs back in 2017. Around the same time, our breeding partner started with breeding purebred German Shepherds and is still a breeder of them. Then, we fell in love for Longhaired Miniature Dachshunds and started breeding them together in 2020.
