Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.

Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.

About the Breeder

A little about us

Hi Im Sarah we live in the beautiful scenic rim. We are family of 6 + plus our 4 furbabies. All our puppies are accustomed to family environment, they are also exposed to farm machinery and livestock.

Why we got involved in breeding

We got our first dachshund in 2019, after having Aubrey for a couple years we were asked if we were going to breed from her as they would like a pup as they love her kind nature.

Our special touch

We treat all our puppies like a family member they often spend time with the children in the bed and getting lots of exposure. We try our best to start toilet training before they find there new families. All puppies leave us with a puppy pack 🐶
