Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
We start Early neurological stimulation exercises early with all of our pups. We continue to stimulate and socialise our pups right through to their leave date using the Breeder Bootcamp program. Our play area is set up with a grassed and garden safe areafor the pups to be allowed to be pups, play and interact with…
Health
We DNA test our adults with Pawprints USA and with Orivets Australia. This allows us to make informed choices when we choose to breed. We mainly raw feed our adult dogs, all of our recipes are from animal nutristists or we use a Raw feeding app to make recipes that are nutritionally balanced for their needs. We…
Home environment
We have areas set up in the home, yard and veranda that are puppy safe areas where they can learn and grow safely.
Included with our puppies
Our puppies are vet checked, vaccinated and microchipped at 6 weeks. We take care of any fit to fly certificates that are needed for puppies to fly to their new homes. We gather quotes for flights, book flights and travel pups to the airport or to meet road transport as required. We change the microchips into owners…

Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
Genetic Test
Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (NCL) is a neurodegenerative disorder found in many breeds of dog. 7 varieties have been identified so far, affecting different breeds. There are DNA tests for each type, to identify whether a breeding dog might be carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.
