Laryngeal Paralysis (LP) is a disease causing partial or complete paralysis of one or both sides of the larynx in a dog’s throat. This can result in wheezing, collapse after exercise and difficulty breathing. In Bull Terriers and Miniature Bull Terriers there is a genetic cause of this disease which can be tested for with a DNA test.
Genetic Test
Lethal Acrodermatitis (LAD) is a serious genetic disease that can affect Bull Terriers and Miniature Bull Terriers. It causes severe skin lesions as well as immune system compromise, causing affected puppies to develop painful lesions on their face and feet which become easily infected.
