Congenital Macrothrombocytopenia (CM) is a mild disease which normally does not have any impact on an affected dog’s health or lifespan but can cause concern if noticed on routine bloodwork without knowing the cause. It is a blood disease resulting in low numbers of very large platelets. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

dna iconGenetic Test

This is a genetic condition affecting Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that causes severe skin, nail and eye issues, as well as making the usually long smooth coat tight and curly. Curly Coat is linked to Congenital Dry Eye disease. There is a DNA test available to identify if breeding Cavaliers are carrying Congenital Dry Eye or Curly Coat.

dna iconGenetic Test

Curly Coat Dry Eye Syndrome is a genetic cause of eye and skin problems in Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies. The disease also caused an unsually tight curly coat texture. There is a DNA test available to identify if breeding Cavaliers are carrying the gene for Curly Coat Dry Eye Syndrome.

dna iconGenetic Test

This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

dna iconGenetic Test

This is a genetic neurological condition affecting Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. It causes sudden stiffening of the legs, often causing the dog to fall over and be unable to move. There is a DNA test available to indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease. The test is also recommended in Cavoodles.

About the Breeder

A little about us

Hamilton Newcastle, NSW I’m Kim, a proud mum of 2 and clinical social worker of 25 years. I have worked previously as a veterinary nurse and now enjoy utilising my skills and experience in the care and education field to improve my ethical breeding program and mentor others. This platform is used by me to manage…

Why we got involved in breeding

I fell in love firstly with the Groodle breed since owning our first girl Eadie. We extended our family to include a rescue purebred standard Poodle Charlie and naturally the two bonded.

Our special touch

Combining my former veterinary nursing experience and lifetime ambition, I set up an ethical breeding practice, extending our furbaby family and passing this enjoyment and love of the breed onto others. I have also begun to incorporate the Badass Breeder approach to puppy rearing and socialisation. All of my braiding…

Hi, thank you so much for your interest in our F1 mini cavoodle pups. We have five boys and four girls. Colours ranging from tricolour with black brown and white, Ruby with white patches, and black with white patches. There aren’t any girls available who are Ruby. I will be doing some pictures in the next day. Usually my price for Puppies is between 5 1/2 thousand and 6 1/2 thousand, however these puppies will be $5000. 50% on choosing your puppy and the rest on pick up. Happy to negotiate payment plans For the second half So that it’s paid off by pick up if that would be helpful. I am currently waiting for the DNA results from Sasha the Cavalier King Charles. When I bought her at age 18 months I was shown her results by the current owners however they did not send her with these results unfortunately despite asking multiple times, so I have ordered my own tests however there is a long wait at the moment. The dad, Bailey the miniature poodle, is completely clear of all genetic issues so this should insure that the puppies will not be affected by genetic issues. Despite this I do have an 18 month guarantee And provide six weeks Hills insurance which covers the first six weeks if something were to happen. If you choose not to take out this insurance or your own comprehensive insurance, I can only cover Hills issues for the first six weeks that would not be covered in the insurance and would be my fault as a breeder. Also these puppies are not for breeding purposes. The puppies will be ready to go home on the 12th and 13th of June. Unfortunately I cannot keep any puppies longer due to having plans that Following week where I will not be at home. The puppies all come with an 18 month guarantee for anything that is the fault of the breeder, six weeks insurance and, puppy pack, Desexing voucher for $50, A lifetime of support, the misty mountain Groodles Facebook community, etc. If you wanted to move forward and choose a puppy with all this knowledge can organise a FaceTime appointment. I would need you to fill out an application on Right Paw so I know a bit more about you for the cavoodles. Then we would organise a FaceTime appointment and finalise a puppy choice. It is at that point that a 50% deposit is required. If the some reason you need to go back on your agreement to purchase this puppy There would be a 10% retainment of the deposit and the rest would be reimbursed to you. However this is a very rare occurrence and I have never faced it as if you were at that point you usually are a hundred percent in. So let me know if you would like to know more information, see more photos and go to the next stage :-) Kim Gillespie Misty Mountain Groodles
