OzXolo Mini Xoloitzcuintles
Cowra, NSW
Hi, I'm Debbie & Liz N.
Welcome to OzXolo! We are two experienced breeders, who have come together to start a new kennel devoted to our love of the Xolo! We have shown and promoted the Xolo breed for many years, and have totally fallen in love with this amazing primitive dog breed.

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
As I have a wide variety of breeds at home, the puppies will get to socialise with a number of different dogs. When they are six-weeks old, we run ENS training, and put the pups through a stimulus course we constructed at home (complete with climbing walls, see saws and more). We also ensure they are…
Health
All puppies will come fully wormed and vaccinated, as well as complete with all veterinary papers.
Home environment
All of our dogs are inside the home when they are whelped. The whelping box is inside, and Mum also has a private space to retreat to. Other dogs are separated from the pups, but are still nearby and allowed to wander around to help normalise encounters with other dogs. We have also have a huge run area outside…
Included with our puppies
Folder which includes Registration Papers from Dogs NSW, Vaccination Certificate, Feeding Menu, Photos and Breed Standard as well as soft toys and food.
Health Tests
Core Tests(0/1)

About the Breeder
A little about us
Debbie started her breeding career with long-haired Weimaraners, and was later introduced to Chinese Cresteds, which she also breeds (and still has her original female matriarch!). Liz is a veteran of the dog sports world (jumping and agility), competing also with Chinese Cresteds. Recently, Debbie and Liz have…
Why we got involved in breeding
Liz first heard about the breed during her dog sports days, and received her first Xolo from the Amorenkid kennel in 2016 - a mischievous and confident Xolo called Zoo. Zoo went on to become a champion show and agility dog; and her Xolo collection grew with the addition of another Xolo from Amorenkid and an imported…
Our special touch
We bring the combined love of two Xolo fanatics to our kennel! Xolos are a "thinking" dog breed, and training then means we both love and respect each other in a partnership that benefits us both. The bond these dogs form is incredible and humbling.
