Behaviour and socialisation

Puppies are raised as part of the family, as I only have small 3 bitches that I breed and put all my time into, they are extremely well looked after and raised on a farm. Pups are used to cats, chickens and other farm yard animals; and receive frequent interaction from the family. Puppies are picked up, cuddled and…

Health

Breeding dogs are DNA tested and owners will be given a copy of the breeding dogs' genetic health testing. Puppies are checked by our vet at 6 weeks old, where they are vaccinated, microchipped and wormed.

Home environment

We are located near Tamworth, where our pups are raised in the house with our family in a secure environment with fencing outside. Our puppies have the run of the house, frequently running around inside as well as outside in our backyard (when old enough).

dna iconGenetic Test

Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.

Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) is a genetic disease causing a stiff gait, exercise intolerance and difficulty swallowing in young Miniature Dachshunds. There is now a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

About the Breeder

A little about us

Have been breeding and showing dogs for over 10 years. I am a scientist and understand the importance of genetics in animals.

Why we got involved in breeding

Show confirmation and genetic interests plus just my little best mates.

Our special touch

My puppies are exposed to as much as they possibly can be before leaving to go to new homes to best set them up for life. I also offer on going support for the puppies.
