I have loved dachshunds since I was a little girl and I still have a strong passion (some would say obsession) for the breed! I got my first long haired miniature dachshund Teddi in 2017 and I never looked back! I now have Teddi, Grace and Billie and they are the loves of my life! Hence the profile name Sausage…
Why we got involved in breeding
I got involved in breeding because I found it so difficult to get miniature dachshunds. I hated having to be on a waitlist for so long. I decided that I would breed to contribute to making them more accessible and also just because I love puppies even tho they are hard work! The hard work is worth it as you see…
Our special touch
I currently have a short hair (Billy), a long hair (Teddi) and a wire hair (Grace), so I am capable of breeding all 3 hair types. In the future I would like to add a silky wire hair to the mix :-)
