Genetic Test
Chondrodystrophy (CDDY) is a condition causing abnormal development of cartilage. Many breeds are prone to this condition, especially short-legged breeds. CDDY makes a dog high risk for developing Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), or ‘slipped discs’ in their spine. There is a DNA test available to identify if a dog is carrying genes making their puppies higher risk for CDDY/IVDD.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
Mucopolysaccharidosis is a genetic lysosomal storage disease that can cause various problems including stunted growth and bone deformities. There are a few different variants of this disease that have been identified in different breeds. For many breeds there are DNA tests available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying the condition.
Genetic Test
Osteochondrodysplasias are a group of rare genetic diseases that cause problems with connective tissue, cartilage, or bone development. They commonly cause dwarfism and movement disorders. There is a DNA test available in some breeds to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

About the Breeder
A little about us
I have been importing poodles for 10 plus years, travelling the world to find the most sound, true type and healthy dogs. I thrive on breeding to the standard and ensuring health is priority. Travelling to find and meet parents and even grand parents have allowed myself to be more knowledgable of what the future…
Why we got involved in breeding
My husband is terminally ill and at the time I lost my little brother to cancer. I needed an outlet and to express myself, so I fell in love with the poodle and showing. I adore the breed and the best part is poodles being 100 hyper-allergenic they are able to go into the hospital to see my husband.
Our special touch
Continually learning to improve the breed so we can enjoy this amazing breed for many years to come. Being able to import amazing poodles to share in Australia.
