Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Pups are raised in a loving family environment on our rural property. We socialise our puppies in many different environments. They get to roam indoors and outdoors, and get used to many different sounds like TV, music, vacuum cleaner, lawn mowers and cars. Our pups also interact with a variety of adults,…
Health
Our dogs are DNA tested and cleared. The parents are vet checked regularly. Puppies are microchipped and vaccinated. They also get their worming at 2 week intervals. All puppies undergo a health check before they leave for their forever homes.
Home environment
Pups are raised in our home on a 2 acre rural property, with lots of room to roam around inside and out. We have an outside deck which they can run around on.
Included with our puppies
Included in the purchase of a puppy is: - Microchipping - Vaccinations - Worming (to 8 weeks) - Full Vet Health Check - Puppy Pack

Additional Tests
Shelldale cocker spaniels conducts 5 additional tests available for the Cocker Spaniel.
Genetic Test
Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS) is a genetic disease that causes affected dogs to compulsively lick, overgroom and bite their paws. This can cause recurrent injuries and infections. The condition can be extreme and even result in the dog being euthanised if the signs cannot be controlled.
Genetic Test
This is a rare genetic disease affecting Cocker Spaniels. It can cause wobbliness and incoordination in the hindlimbs, with eventual progression to paralysis and difficulty breathing. It usually only affects older dogs and progression is slow over several years. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Bernard-Soulier Syndrome (BSS) is a genetic bleeding disorder caused by abnormally large platelets in low numbers, meaning an affected animal cannot form clots properly after tissue damage. It can lead to life-threatening bleeding issues following surgery or injury. There is a DNA test available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC) is a genetic condition mainly affecting Retrievers and Spaniels. It results in the dog collapsing after periods of intense exercise, even if they are normally able to cope with lower levels of exercise. There is a DNA test available which can indicate if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
Canine Phosphofructokinase (PFK) Deficiency is a genetic disease resulting in low levels of the PFK enzyme. It can result in extreme muscle fatigue, muscle cramping and severe anaemia. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

About the Breeder
A little about us
Hi, I am Michelle, and I have been breeding Cavoodles and Spoodles since 2016. We are dedicated to furthering the love of Cavoodles through our beautiful dogs and pups.
Why we got involved in breeding
We got involved into breeding as we love dogs and we have a love for the Cavoodle and Spoodle breeds. We see the love and excitement on people's faces, and that joy of giving puppies to families - it really changes their life, and we look forward to that every time we have a litter.
Our special touch
We have a personal touch with our customers in that we keep in contact even after our dogs go home to their forever home with their human parents! We keep in contact through our Facebook groups, where we see updates of how the dogs are doing; and we even get some owners coming back for another puppy. There is a…
