We are a breeder of long and smooth coat miniature dachshunds located in South East QLD. All of our dogs are extremely loved pets raised in our home alongside our children on our farm. Our goal is to breed top quality pups that will bring as much joy to their new families as they do to us 🤍

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our pups are well socialised with our young children,our other dogs (dachshunds and kelpies)and our 2 cats. We ensure that our puppies get used to spending time on their own so that they do not rely on constantly having someone around and are comfortable being left home.
Health
All our breeding dogs are health and DNA tested. We feed a mix of top grade kibble and raw food to ensure our big dogs and puppies are getting all the nutrients they need! All our puppies are wormed and vaccinated on schedule.
Home environment
Our dachshunds mostly live inside but have free run of our farm. Our puppies have their own enclosure in our house that, once of age, is full of all the things they will need to grow into happy healthy dogs. They will grow up alongside our young children so will be well-adjusted to young kids, as well as our other…

Our pups come with their first and second lot of vaccinations and microchipping done. When you welcome one of our pups into your home you will also get a generous puppy pack full of things to help your new puppy settle in as smoothly as possible.

Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as ‘brittle bone disease’, is an inherited disease in both humans and animals, causing bone fragility and fracturing. As it is a genetic disease, breeding parents can be tested to ensure it is not passed onto their puppies.

Sarcoglycan Deficient Muscular Dystrophy (SDMD) is a genetic disease causing a stiff gait, exercise intolerance and difficulty swallowing in young Miniature Dachshunds. There is now a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.

Why we got involved in breeding
I decided to start breeding as I wanted to be able to supply other families with top quality, well-adjusted and all round healthy pups to enjoy and love, just as we have with our dogs.
Our special touch
