Our Breeding Practices

Behaviour and socialisation

My puppies are handled from a young age and socialised with people, children and other dogs. They are introduced to everyday noises, different environments and outdoor experiences to help prepare them for their new homes.

Health

My breeding dogs are DNA tested through Orivet and Embark. Puppies receive regular worming, vaccinations, microchipping and vet checks before leaving for their new homes. I work closely with my vet and put the health and wellbeing of my dogs and puppies first.

Home environment

My dogs and puppies are raised in a clean, safe and comfortable home environment. Puppies have a dedicated whelping area where they are kept warm, clean and secure, with plenty of space as they grow.

Included with our puppies

Each puppy leaves with their vaccination and microchip records, vet health check, worming history and a puppy pack to help them settle into their new home. New owners also receive ongoing support from me and can contact me with any questions.

A little about us

I run a small, selective breeding program focused on health, temperament, and structure. I have a strong interest in dilute lines, while maintaining sound genetics and overall quality in every pairing. As a mum, my dogs are raised hands-on as part of everyday life, producing confident, well-rounded dachshunds.

I got involved in breeding through a genuine passion for the breed and a desire to do it properly. I wanted to focus on producing quality dachshunds with sound genetics, good structure, and strong temperaments — not just breeding for numbers. Our special touch

My approach is very hands-on and intentional. I put a lot of time into understanding each dog individually and how they develop, rather than just focusing on the end result. Every litter is raised closely around everyday life, so they’re confident, well-adjusted, and easy to transition into their new homes.
