Canine Elliptocytosis is a rare genetic disease causing the red blood cells to be abnormally elliptical in shape, rather than round. Congenital Macrothrombocytopenia (CM) is a mild disease which normally does not have any impact on an affected dog’s health or lifespan but can cause concern if noticed on routine bloodwork without knowing the cause. It is a blood disease resulting in low numbers of very large platelets. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

About the Breeder

A little about us

Hi, I’m Diana! a small home-based breeder in Victoria. I raise puppies on our hobby farm alongside our family, with lots of love, handling, and early socialisation. My focus is on happy, healthy puppies and finding them the right homes.

Why we got involved in breeding

My journey into breeding started with a deep love of animals and a passion for raising them in a calm, nurturing environment. Living on a small hobby farm, animals are a big part of our everyday life—not just as pets, but as valued members of our family. All animals have names including my sheep! I’ve always been…

Our special touch

I love providing weekly updates of the puppies and what they are up to! :) They will also be toilet trained using alfalfa pellets, which has a grassy smell that helps them transition to toileting outside on the grass. They will be exposed to the everyday essentials. This includes different sounds, smells, textures,…
