We are an ethical and passionate, small breeder of Miniature Long Hair Dachshunds based in Brisbane North, Queensland. Puppies are raised in our home environment where they begin essential early desensitisation training. All our breeding dogs are DNA tested and have annual health checks at the vet.

Our Breeding Practices

Behaviour and socialisation

Any pups bred by us will be socialised with our other adult Dachshunds. We have our family pets, Peanut (desexed), who is extremely gentle and calm and great with all dogs, puppies and children; and we have our retired stud, Toblerone, who will show puppies how to be courageous in our own safe and secure backyard.…

All puppies will be microchipped and health checked before leaving for their forever homes. A little about us

My name is Teghan Spencer. I am very passionate about the dachshund breed and endeavour to create lifelong companions in my puppies. We raise our litters in our home and are proud to be Therapy Dogs Australia educated and MDBA registered.

Why we got involved in breeding

I absolutely fell in love with the breed when we got our first miniature dachshund, Peanut. Peanut has since been desexed and remains my first little love and our family pet.
