Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our babies are introduced to people, noises, a very noisey cat and children at a young age. Being that we are three people the babies spend their first weeks with Carol, before moving Emma-Lee’s home where they get use to change whilst still being together. This prepares them for their new home and allows them to…
Health
Our babies all come with health clearances from our vet.
Home environment
Our babies are raised in our lounge room, meeting daily visitors, our cat and the grandchildren. Once older they do spend time outside on grass.

Genetic Test
Congenital Macrothrombocytopenia (CM) is a mild disease which normally does not have any impact on an affected dog’s health or lifespan but can cause concern if noticed on routine bloodwork without knowing the cause. It is a blood disease resulting in low numbers of very large platelets. There is a DNA test available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) in dogs is a type of genetic eye disease causing deterioration of the retina and eventually, blindness. There are a variety of sub-types of PRA, which can occur in various breeds. There are various DNA tests available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.

About the Breeder
A little about us
We are a mother Carol and daughter team Emma-Lee and Sally. We originally started in Chihuahuas when the girls were young, when Carol fell in love with the Chinese Crested Dog exhibiting and breeding them successfully for 30 years. Whilst the girls always exhibited the Chinese Cresteds they had their own breeds with…
Why we got involved in breeding
Carol originally was a endurance rider, competing was something she did as a child, however no longer having horse but having pedigree dogs she started showing.
Our special touch
We get sent the dogs that are difficult and rehabilitate them.
