Hi, I'm Shelley J.
We are a small, select kennel that is set on 10 acres in southeast Victoria, just a short drive from Melbourne. We own a small vineyard that carries the name Sweetbryar as well.

Our Breeding Practices
Behaviour and socialisation
Our puppies are reared inside and are socialised around us, with our visitors and other dogs and cats in the home. We are on a busy farm with horses and ponies, tractors and lawnmowers, so our puppies are well-adjusted to this type of environment. We advise all new owners to go to puppy school and do obedience…
Health
Our breeding dogs are fully DNA profiled, hip and elbow scored. We regularly vet check and our puppies are microchipped, vaccinated, flea/tick treated and desexed (males are vasectomised). We feed a diet of premium Royal Canin.
Home environment
We live on a farm but do not have outdoor kennels. We have a dedicated whelping box set up under heat lamps inside the home, where our puppies remain for the first two weeks. We have special puppy yards and a large backyard set up outside, where our puppies and dogs can play during the day. All our dogs sleep…
Included with our puppies
We provide a Royal Canin bag containing dried food, information, toys and blanket. We can also supply full vet health check records, parent DNA profiles and health test scores. We include full membership to the Bullmastiff Club Victoria (BMCV) along with 24hour support and rehoming policy, if ever needed.

Genetic Test
Canine Multifocal Retinopathy (CMR) is a genetic disorder causing local detachment of the retina in young dogs. It does not always cause impaired vision or blindness but can in severe cases. There are three types of CMR affecting different breeds. A DNA test is available to identify if a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
Genetic Test
This is a disease affecting the spinal cord of older dogs, initially causing wobbliness and eventually hindlimb paralysis. It can affect a wide range of breeds. There is now a DNA test that can indicated if a breeding dog is carrying this disease.
Genetic Test
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA) in dogs is a type of genetic eye disease causing deterioration of the retina and eventually, blindness. There are a variety of sub-types of PRA, which can occur in various breeds. There are various DNA tests available to identify whether a breeding dog is carrying this condition.
